What is the LFL


The LFL was created in 2004 as a way to give millions of viewers a chance to watch something more interesting during the Super Bowl halftime show. The Game was televised on Pay-Per-View and it was viewed by millions of people in over 85 countries. It was not until 2009 that the league decided to have an actual league that consist of 10 teams playing a 20 week season at major arenas and stadiums. Most of the teams are coached by former players of the NFL and most of the players also have a background in other sports.


In this blog, we will get to meet some of the players, coaches and other people working with the LFL. We will also learn some of the rules that differentiate the LFL from the NFL and how it affects the way the games are played.
